As a representative of EH&E’s Life Sciences team, a Staff Scientist I, is an experienced environmental health and safety professional who works with our biotechnology and research laboratory clients throughout New England. The Staff Scientist I educates, trains, and provides support to operations in the development and execution of consistent safety and environmental management programs. This position is responsible for improving the quality of safety and environmental management processes following established regulations, policies, standards, and practices.
The Technical Specialist II will operate in facilities ranging from professional research laboratories to biopharmaceutical companies. This position is responsible for the performance and monitoring of all lab safety equipment, PPE fit-testing, clean-up of hazardous spills and lab safety training according to federal, state, local government and company guidelines.
The Staff Scientist II, is responsible for the management, program coordination, and technically sound work products that meet internal and external client expectations and provides technical support in the field at client site assessments, and other related projects with input from the Principal Consultant.
As a part of EHE’s Healthcare team, the Staff Scientist I, Compliance and EH&S, will provide consultation for our growing healthcare practice. You will work with both regional and national clients to audit and improve the hospital physical environment as well as the environment care of life safety, occupational monitoring and industrial hygiene programs. This position is responsible for conducting audits, assessments, occupational monitoring and inspections.
