Every construction project, large or small poses some risk to staff, students and adjacent physical assets from exposure to dust, exhaust, odors and chemicals associated with construction. This paper describes a new automated approach for construction monitoring that provides continuous protection and instant notification of significant events to the project team and other key personnel. These notifications provide early warning of any potential containment or control issues so they can be addressed before they negatively impact assets, workers or the surrounding community-and before they stop the project.
