Water crises, such as Flint, Michigan, expose the vulnerability of tap water in the US to chemical contamination. A peer-reviewed paper published in Environmental Health Insights, co-authored by public health experts from EH&E and the BU School of Public Health, examines the effectiveness of faucet mount water filters as a barrier against many conventional and emerging chemical contaminants found in drinking water.
