Sue Greco serves as a Principal Consultant in EH&E’s Advanced Analytics practice, where she provides expert analysis and risk-assessment guidance to clients in both the U.S. and Canada. With nearly two decades of experience as an environmental health scientist, Sue’s expertise spans public health, environmental engineering, research, and public policy.

In the Environmental & Occupational Health Team at Public Health Ontario (PHO), she led the conduct of the environmental burden of disease for the province. PHO is a Canadian crown agency that provides scientific and technical advice and support to Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, the Ministry of Health, local public health units, and other health-related organizations.

Prior to PHO, Sue managed several projects and led research studies at Abt Associates, a consulting firm focused on government-sector clients in the US and abroad. For the CDC, she planned and led a study that estimated the disease and economic burden of arsenic in unregulated private wells in the U.S.

In other projects, she evaluated non-cancer risk assessment approaches and biomonitoring data for evidence of socioeconomic disparity for the US EPA. She led QA/QC for air pollution and health studies funded by the Health Effects Institute. For the Asian Development Bank, she led a project to quantify the potential human-health benefits associated with the construction of a bus rapid transit line in Dhaka, Bangladesh, a city with high particulate matter levels.

Sue also holds an Adjunct Professor position at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto where she lectures on air pollution and human health risk assessment as well as advises graduate students on research work. In this role, she also is a Fellow in the Collaborative Centre for Climate, Health & Sustainable Care.
