As a senior scientist in EH&E’s Advanced Analytics Division, Tania takes a lead role in performing statistical analysis and risk assessments focused on epidemiology and public health. She holds extensive experience in data abstraction, wrangling, quality assessment, and management, as well as statistical modeling, including time series harmonic regressions.
Tania’s expertise in data visualization and communication with scientific, technical, and general audiences makes her a strong project collaborator. As a result, she has led data analytics projects with local, national, and international partners. This work has included a diverse range of tasks, including predictive modeling for energy conservation programs, database creation and management for legal clients, and coordination of cancer risk assessments due to chemical exposures.
In addition to her work at EH&E, Tania serves as a senior fellow and data scientist at the Tufts University Initiative for the Forecasting and Modeling of Infectious Diseases (InForMID). In this role, she mentors graduate students, delivers guest lectures on statistics and data visualization, and leads biostatistics research projects.
