A senior scientist and project manager in EH&E’s Healthcare Division, Dale helps healthcare organizations comply with state and federal regulations, maintain accreditation, and create safe environments for critical populations and all building occupants.

Dale brings to each client engagement extensive experience in the design, implementation, and management of occupational health and safety programs, as well as a nuanced understanding of The Joint Commission’s Environment of Care and Emergency Management standards. This expertise makes him a valuable in-house safety compliance manager for hospitals. In this capacity, he has helped regional hospitals develop safety policies, manage safety committees, coordinate with key stakeholders to move committee action items forward, and report to organizational leadership.

Dale’s extensive knowledge of indoor and outdoor environmental issues, skill in the use of industrial hygiene measurement tools, and experience with field survey techniques enables him to conduct a wide range of assessments to uncover potential indoor air quality issues. He has also helped healthcare organizations develop and implement hazardous waste management programs, pre-construction risk assessments, and infection control risk assessment programs that keep hospital populations safe.
