Senior Talent Acquisition Partner
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner provides staffing solutions to the EH&E practices through trusted partnerships with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and ensure successful hires.
The ideal candidate is a confident and self-motivated individual who champions the talent acquisition process. Successful candidates can work with little supervision, are extremely organized, have an aptitude for learning new systems and technologies, and are able to adapt to a dynamic environment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner must be very skilled at finding the best possible talent to meet EH&E’s needs. This will require the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to be active on social media forums, attend career fairs, make cold calls, visit local college campuses or universities and any other creative methods they can conceive of to locate qualified individuals. Being charismatic and fostering a good relationship with potential employees is very important.
Interview and Hire Talent
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates. They must have knowledge of interview techniques and be good at reading people and identifying if candidates are a potential “fit” for EH&E.
They also must understand, model, and represent EH&E’s employment value proposition.
They must also be able to perform the hiring process which may include setting up interviews, preparing offer letters, recommending compensation levels, ordering background checks, and providing new employee orientation assistance.
Maintain Candidate Database
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is tasked with building and maintaining a database of potential candidates.
They document any phone calls, emails, or other correspondence they may have with a possible employee and note which candidate would be best for a particular position. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner may also have to keep reports and other paperwork on those they successfully hire.
Education / Training:
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner must be an exceptional communicator and a great negotiator. They should be organized and have an eye for detail. A pleasant personality and being driven to succeed are also important factors. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner must also have:
- 10+ years of experience in recruiting required
- Experience in recruiting for the healthcare, education, or life sciences industries required
- Degree or certification in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Proficient with social media platforms
- Knowledge of, experience with implementing, an applicant tracking systems, preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel preferred
